Dylan Tauber is an
award winning and visionary electronic music pioneer, cyberartist, photographer, and author, who has been a master of his craft for over two and a half decades. After graduating from Columbia University in 1996, Dylan has been based in NYC, Jerusalem, Miami, a remote island in the south western Pacific, and now a kibbutz in northern Israel where he is
Artist-in-Residence.
Dylan Tauber has been producing music, artwork, and writing since he began his prolific 28 year career in 1996 with the ambitious Double Mirrors anthology, which includes a book, photo slide shows, soundtrack, and one of the only artist websites still online since 1996,
DoubleMirrors.com. A pioneer of the indie electronic movement, Dylan was also one of the first artists to offer his music for free MP3 download in 1998. The Double Mirrors project evolves years later, as Tauber continues to explore the cyber-spiritual revolution.
In addition to releasing 20 critically acclaimed transcendental electronica
music albums (most for free download) through his Son of Waves Studios music label, Dylan built a network of
27 websites which showcase his
electronic music,
music videos,
cyberart,
writing, and
photography. This
network of websites has reached over 6.3 million page views since 1996, and
millions of video views. Dylan's music is a unique blend of electronic, vocal trance, chill out, and world music, and his photographs and cyberart explore the relationship between nature, technology, and spirituality. Over
12 vocalists have worked with Dylan on his music projects.
Dylan completed a circle around the planet from 2000-2001, beginning and ending in Israel.
Dylan’s music has been featured on many
radio stations in over 40 countries since 2013, received
positive reviews in dozens of music publications, and his music video "
Love and You Will Live" was played on YES Music Channel 198 TV, Israel, and also was on the playlist of Channel 24 Music TV, Israel, on July 1, 2023.
Dylan also published two
books in 2001, two
ebooks in 2013, and three more
books in 2018 and 2019. A
picture book of Dylan's photography and digital art was published in 2005, and revised in 2018 with Blurb.com.
In 2015, Dylan Tauber completed his eighth album, titled “
Near Death Experience”. Also in 2015, Dylan produced a 9th album titled “
Dolphin Trance”. In 2016, Dylan completed a new 10th album, “
Dolphin Trance 2”, and an 11nth album, which is a
compilation of all his best songs from 2006- 2016 (the second ten year period of Dylan Tauber’s career). This new project is entirely electronic music with vocals.
In October, 2017, Tauber released a new 12th album, "
Sounds from Space", featuring ambient soundscapes, and the vocals of Enlia and Francessca Belisario. A single from this album, "
He Loves Carmen Remix (Radio Edit)", was released in July, 2017. The original version of this track "
Carmen Song," has reached 40,000 plays on Soundcloud, as of December, 2019. As of November, 2020, Dylan's music has had 730,600 plays on
Soundcloud.com.

Dylan completed his 15th album "
The Lagoon" in August, 2022, a trance electronica album inspired by a turquoise lagoon he encountered on a remote island in the south western Pacific. "The Lagoon" features the vocals of Anastasia Derkach and Mona Roselianne, and has received many positive
reviews.
In February 2023, Dylan released his 16th transcendental electronica album: "
I Am Alive". This album has already received
radio play in over 40 countries, and 22 positive
reviews.
In June 2023, Dylan's song from this album "
Love And You Will Live" won a contest with a video production company in London for a free music video. This music video is being played on YES Music Channel 198 TV, Israel, and also is Dylan's first music video to be on the playlist of Channel 24 Music TV, Israel, starting July 1, 2023.
In August, 2023, Dylan released his 17nth album, "
Sea People", about love for planet earth, the oceans, dolphins, and a turquoise lagoon.
